November 2016 Newsletter
Hello, I would like to welcome back all of our seasonal residents and I look forward to meeting all of you. Let’s have a great winter and relax and have some fun!!
Fall is here, can you believe how the time has flown? Before long we will be into the holidays and I am very excited for this.
Activity Club has many things going on so don’t forget to look on the back of the newsletter. Thanksgiving dinner will be nice! This is a time that we can all be thankful:
I am Thankful for God, my health, my family and friends, and Lake Waldena! I had a new grandchild this month, Jaxson Lewis Brown, very happy!
We did get the Shuffleboard courts resurfaced and we are progressing on the dock or we could be finished with the first dock. We will start a second dock soon.
Paddle boats will be here soon, these will be complimentary for residents to use, you will need to check them out with the office, and you must be 18 years of age to use them. This will be on a first come first serve basis. Enjoy them, use them!!
Our sympathy to Kathy and family, we are so sorry for the loss of your brother!
I would like to welcome back Melanie to Lake Waldena, she will be helping in office.
Suggestion Box had a few suggestions:
- Make a ramp for the big blue trailer, the steps are too hard for some people to carry bags and go up them. Working on a plan.
- Remind people to pick up after their pets, people are tired of stepping in the poop! We will watch and make sure people have bags.
- Swimming pool would be nice. (This probably won’t happen) Sorry!
- Lower Rent. Out of my hands.
