July was a great month here in the park, many visitors to the campground, and I met a lot of great people.
It has been hot and it is only going to get hotter. With August here our air conditioners are working very hard so be sure to change your filters.
We continue to get compliments on how clean and neat the park looks, and how spotless are restrooms are. Our office and maintenance staff continue to strive to make things better for all of our residents and guest. We hope you are all satisfied.
Many bear sightings in the park, please be cautious, don’t approach them.
The new covered piers are going to be started on Wednesday the 27th and I think all of the residents and visitors to Lake Waldena will really enjoy them for fishing, relaxing or entertaining. We constantly work on improving the park.
We have had some suggestions on ways to improve the resort and would like more suggestions and ideas from the residents.
We will soon be updating and relining our water tank for our 5 year inspection per EPA, we will post a notice when that will be happening, it should not be much of an inconvenience for the residents.
Our deck in front of the office should be complete this week, very happy with the results.
We live in the forest with wildlife, always be cautious and know your surrounding when using the piers, the beach, and swimming.
Our condolences to Margaret and family, we lost Carl #209 this week, he will be missed!!
