Lake Waldena Resort
Monthly Newsletter November 2015
Welcome, Welcome Back. Hope everyone has a wonderful summer. We are looking forward to another great season catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones.
HELP! HELP! HELP! Approximately 9 years ago, Lake Waldena Resort initiated a credit card payment option. It was a convenience for our RV customers to make reservations quickly, and accommodated those travelers who do not keep local checking accounts. The service fees we pay for providing that accommodation was, and is approx. 3% of the total amount charged. Our first year’s costs were less than $1,000.00. This year our direct costs will be approx. $5,000.00. It’s DOWN by $1000.00 from last year, so Thank You. We know and understand that it is a convenience for you to pay your lot rent with a credit cards while you are up north for the summer. We, again are encouraging you to pay your lot rent by check while you’re here for the winter.
We thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.
If you have a comment, suggestion or complaint concerning any park issues, it must be submitted in writing and given to the office staff and it will be addressed. Please, DO NOT stop the maintenance staff or call the office, this takes them away from their daily duties.
Attention Campers: We will again be providing you (Upon Request) a leaf container for those of you that like to tend to your own site. Simply ask the office staff and one will be delivered to your site. We will pick-up, dump and return your leaf container for you Every Friday provided that you have if pulled out in front of your site by 12:00 noon. That gives the maintenance staff time to pick up, dump and return your containers and still gives them time to get the main dump trailer to the dump, by the end of business day, so that they are empty for those that may need to use them over the weekend.
Emergency phone number are posted in front of the office. Please respect the privacy of our staff who live on the premise. It is to be used ONLY for Extreme Park Emergencies. Such as broken water or sewer pipes, electrical emergencies, etc. All others issues, you should call 911. For non-emergency issues, such as
